Okay so if you’ve been under a rock for the last while don’t have a clue what Facebook is. That’s alright. Pretty soon though you won’t be able to get away from the. The ever growing ever morphing Facebook is growing again. First I should tell you and this will become far more obvious in the days to come, I love Facebook. It really is an incredible place. Pretty much no spam to deal with and you can turn things off in a heartbeat. Voila, no more friend, no more flying sheep, no more webfetti. Then move on to the next app and see what it does, find that old school mate that you haven’t seen for umpteen years. The guy or gal you worked with at that job 4 years ago and lost contact with them. They may not be there now but more and more the number of people that are gravitating towards Facebook are growing exponentially.

Why is that? Really it’s just another of the hundreds of social sites out there where you mingle with “friends.”What is it with this one that makes it stand out so far from the rest. Aside from the incredible clutter that is on Myspace. Are you tired of going to a Myspace page and having the blare reach out and assault your ears and then can’t find the damn off switch. How about the putrid colour choices.

Unlike Myspace Facebook has a very uniform look and feel. The difference being in all the apps that can be added. From astrology to zen you’re pretty much covered in one way or another. Simple installs and what’s better sometimes is they can be just as easily removed.

Just fill out your profile, add some photos or videos, some likes dislike an a touch of music preferences and you’re off to the races. Get social, start looking for friends and building up your “Entourage.”Send a growing gift to a certain someone. Find your favorite artist or musician. Frankly I’ve been quite surprise at the number of people that have a profile there. What’s even more astounding is how easy it is to just send them a message and low and behold, get back a reply. Hm-mm, potential there for something I think.
